I am Brandon Crosby and I came up with the idea for Parametric Writing. Parametric Writing is a fiction book writing tool that adds modern parametric ideas from mechanical design and other engineering software. Engineers use the extra information to verify their designs and make all kinds of simple checks.
As an engineer I see the benefits to putting more time into designing something, with the goal of preventing manufacture cost. I decided, “Books need that too.” So- here we are!

Parametric Writing as a Business
I want people to be able to know about and use Parametric Writing. That means I want a business that provides PW and can gather and use resources like programmers, editors and engineers to forward the cause of popularizing PW.
I want to start a business around Parametric Writing. That could mean selling the idea, concept and software to an existing company. I’d love working as a consultant or advisor for a company that makes Parametric Writing into a real and widely used platform.
Of course I’ve considered starting a business to do this too. Maybe ‘Engineered Writing’ or ‘Faceted Fiction’. I’d need say half a million dollars to start, which I suppose I have, to start hiring programmers and building a consumer ready system.
